Help Us Keep Optimist Hill Snow Park Thriving
Make a Difference This Winter—Support Your Local Snow Park!
As the winter season approaches, we’re reaching out to ask for your support to keep Optimist Hill Snow Park running and accessible to everyone in our community. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to provide affordable, local winter experiences—but we need your help now more than ever.
Why Your Support Matters
Did you know that tickets, rentals and concession sales only cover about 80% of the hill’s annual expenses? The remaining 20% relies on the kindness of our community members like you. Every donation helps us continue providing opportunities for families, individuals, and youth to enjoy winter activities together.
Your donation today will help us:
- Provide affordable winter fun for families who may not otherwise have the chance to experience skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
- Support community-building activities, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together for memorable winter experiences.
- Maintain and improve the hill’s facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
Hear From Our Supporters
Brad Sylvester outgoing board chair and longtime volunteer, shares why Optimist Hill is more than just a place for winter sports:
“I remember one winter afternoon when I saw a group of kids skiing for the first time. They were hesitant at first, but soon their laughter filled the air as they slid down the hill. Watching them gain confidence and seeing their faces light up reminded me why we do what we do. Optimist Hill is about more than just a hill—it’s about creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, regardless of their circumstances.”
Your support allows us to continue providing these life-changing experiences, making Optimist Hill a place where everyone feels welcome and included.
